When I started this website, I tried to make a point of not writing about politics. Well, I'm going to break my own rule today, and hope to spread the word about what I can only call disgraceful and disgusting conduct on the part of a Canton, OH police officer. Ohio, like many states, allows citizens to carry a concealed handgun after passing the appropriate background checks, taking a class, and so on. And like many states, Ohio has a "duty to inform" clause in their concealed carry law. That means that when interacting with law enforcement, as a concealed handgun license holder, you have a "duty" to immediately inform the law enforcement officer that you have a concealed handgun license. Well - what if the officer never gives the chance to talk? Things can go downhill quick.
